Join us on a culinary journey starting from the Bjäre Peninsula, guided by the star chef Matilda Ewald. At a large communal table by the open kitchen, you will enjoy a seasonal menu in eight courses. Head Chef, Chef’s Area

Your guide on this taste journey is Matilda Ewald, hailing from a dairy farm in Laholm. After a remarkable professional career as a chef and kitchen master in restaurants in Sälen, Smögen, and Gothenburg, Matilda has now chosen to return to her roots.

Matilda most recently served as the sous-chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant SK Mat & Människor, has been a member of the Swedish Culinary National Team, and was named ”Young Chef of the Year in Halland.”

Practical Information

Chef’s Area is offered at Hotel Skansen’s restaurant Sand, Wednesday to Friday at 7:00 PM.

The dinner lasts approximately 3 hours.

There is space for up to 24 guests at two communal tables.
